|There is a face under this mask...|
From the left to the right:
-Batman (light bluish gray suit with yellow belt and crest, dark blue mask and cape):
This is the minifig released in 2012; based on the classic comics version of the Caped Crusader.
He has a Dark Blue cowl and cape which are very appreciable and bring some colors in the dressing-room
His head has the usual dual face pattern (serious/smile). The torso’s pattern is wonderful with the classic Yellow bat-logo, some muscle reliefs and a yellow utility belt which looks like the one from the animated series (childhood feeling…).
Sometimes I replace his Dark Blue cowl, cape, hips and gloves by black ones so I made the Batman from the animated series of my childhood but shhhh, it’s a secret.
-Batman (light bluish gray suit with black mask):
I finally get the first Batman minifigure, released in 2006; based on the second suit of The Animated Series.
This is a wonderful minifig with a great torso pattern. The black bat logo, muscles patter and yellow belt are fabulous.
About his head, his mouth is narrower than next versions and he doesn't possess a dual face, because Batman is always serious
His mask is a little bit too big and looks more like a helmet, but this is the first version after all. His ears are more curved than the second version which, as in the early comics, which is really great!
-Batman (black suit with yellow belt and crest):
This is the minifig released between 2012 and 2014; based on Tim Burton’s movies released in 1989 and 1991.
This is just the perfect minifig for this version of Batman. He has the “Type 2” cowl with long hears, his cape is made in the classic fabric, his head has a dual face printed: serious and smiling and his torso has the perfect pattern: Yellow bat-logo, Yellow utility belt and Grey muscle relief.
This is one of my favorite Batman minifig.
-Batman (dark bluish grey suit with copper belt):
This is the minifig from the set 76001:”The Bat vs Bane – Tumbler Chase”, released in 2013; based on the Dark Knight Trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan ([2012, 2014 and 2016]).
He also has the second version of the cowl, a classic cape and the same dual face than the “Burton’s version”. His torso’s pattern looks so wonderful and corresponds perfectly with his appearance in movies. The bat-logo is exactly the same as seen in the movie, some parts of the armor are shiny and he has a golden utility belt, one more time, perfectly based on the screen version.
I think the Dark Bluish Grey color of his body is an excellent idea: we can see perfectly all pattern’s details and, according to me, it’s a tribute to the classic Grey costume of the Super-Heroes.
This is my purist Bruce Wayne:
His head the Superboy’one, his hair is from the City theme (it is the same part used in the second version of the official Bruce Wayne minifig) and his torso is a classic smoking from the City theme.
I’m really happy with the result. Tell me what you think about it
-Batman (dark bluish gray suit, gold belt, black hands, spongy cape):
This is the minifig from the set, released in ; inspired by the “New 52” design of the character.
The first thing about this minifig is its new mask: this is the third version of the Batman’s mask. It’s a beautiful part, which looks like more than a helmet (as in previous versions). It also looks angrier than previous version of the Caped Crusader. His cape is made with the new spongy material. It’s a good product, you can move it easier than the classic tissue but sometimes in pictures, light pass through the cape… About his head, he has a dual face: serious (not seen in the picture) and angry.
The tan pattern is printed on a Black part, so it appears very dark so I increase the luminosity on the pattern with Paint Shop Pro 5.
The pattern on the torso has a lot of muscle reliefs (maybe too much in comparison with previous versions), a big black bat-logo and a golden utility belt. Important fact: his hips part is Dark Bluish Gray, the same colors as his legs.
I really enjoy this minifig and it reminds me the Batfleck from “Batman v Superman”: angrier and stronger than the previous cinematic version of the Caped Crusader.
-Batman Armored :
This is the minifig from the set 76044: “Clash of the Heroes”, released in 2016; based on the armor he wears in the movie “Batman v Superman – Dawn of the Justice”.
This is a very impressive minifig with his Pearl Dark Gray helmet and armor. The armor is a beautiful part but I’m a little bit disappointed about it because there isn’t bat-logo on it and it hides the great armor pattern on the torso. His Dark Bluish Gray cape is made with the traditional starched fabric and has only one hole so, when you put it under the armor: that’s damaged it; and if the minifig wears it without the armor: the cape floating in the air. I don’t know if there is a real answer to this problem.
The head has a dual face printed: serious and angry (angrier than others version) and glow in dark, so you can remake the famous scene from the movie when Batman waits Superman beside the Bat-Signal.
Another detail: his legs are printed with Silver and Dark Blue armor pattern which looks really great and is a rare thing on a Batman minifig (the only other one minifig which has legs pattern is Batman – Electro Suit).
